and yes, every year, I make resolutions... every year, I complete a few and fail on a lot. I look at it as opportunities and challenges. =)
here is what I would like to do in 2012.
- loss weight
- run a 5k
- clean one room a day
- save more money
- spend less money
- limit eating out to weekends and special events
- 52 cards
- 52 layouts
- 5 upcycled projects
- cut my scrapbook budget in half
- complete my 2009 P365
- complete my 2010 and 2011 December Daily albums
- complete some art journal prompts from a class I took in 2010 and actually bind the journal when complete
- and the hardest one, no new paper for the first 2 months of 2012
2011's OLW was 'renew'
2009's OLW was 'focus'
I didn't do a OLW for 2010, not sure why, but I love how it makes you reflect on the past and your future. We can all try improving some aspect of our lives, yes? and it doesn't hurt to have some inspiration along the way.
I have lots more thoughts and ideas on how I want to grow as a paper crafter.... more to come as January unfolds.
I'll leave you with a picture of some of the tags I made over Christmas..
I'll see you all soon.
and don't forget to check out this month's challenge over at Scrapbookers Anonymous. =)
Toodles.
I love the little bells on those tags- so cute!
ReplyDeleteAnd I have TONS of unfinished projects I'm always saying I should finish, so I'm in on that one with you! We're also attempting the 365 (or 366) this year, but it's between Mike & I, so it should go pretty well I think!
I hear ya girl on resolutions... I haven't made any in a few years cuz I know I will fail at some...lol!! I loveeeeeeeeee your tags...and can't wait to hear your OLW! :):):):):):):):):):):)
ReplyDeleteVery inspiring! All very achievable goals!!!
ReplyDeleteHi, Theresa, just catching up. I hope you had a good Christmas and New Year. I've loved reading your resolutions, I've not made any this year, yours are very inspiring so maybe I will rethink. I look forward to seeing this years word is.xxx
ReplyDeleteway cool tags!!
ReplyDeleteThey are great resolutions... I need to do this! ANd stick to them!
Love your words too!
What an ambitious list! I'm with you on most of that, except running a 5K. Spending less $$ on eating out is a biggie. Haven't made any scrapping goals, except to find time to scrap almost every day!
ReplyDeleteThe tags are freaking gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your resolutions & I hope you're having a happy new year so far!! I absolutely love the tags you made :)

Some of your goals/resolutions are the same as mine, I just didn't write them down exactly. I want to finish some of my mini albums, some have been sitting around for 4 or 5 years (gasp!) and I definitely need to save/make more money. Love your tags, are they inspired by Timmie? Good luck with all your goals, and Happy new year to you! Hugs, Roxy.
