Pictured Rocks
Then, on Tuesday morning we headed back down to Mackinaw Island for the afternoon. Went on a carriage tour and visited the Butterfly house... that was the coolest thing ever. so pretty. I've never seen so many butterflies in one place.

A couple of the butterflies.. there were lots of them.
It was our 10 year anniversary on Thursday. We ate at Zhenders in Frankenmuth. We love it there and the food is always good. Time sure does fly by... seems just like yesterday.. =)
I did get to scrapbook of Friday....didn't get much done, but I wanted to put a plug in for Nikki Sivils. I found her on the web and encouraged my LSS store to carry her line. They got it in.. so I made a page with the Victoria's Street line.
Couches...this is me and my dad in the early 80's... 82 I think.
And while enjoying the last day of my vacation today, I'm watching some Clint Eastwood movies.... and in between movies, I designed my own blog background and header. I used some digital elements from ACOT and from Sketch Me If You Can. The header was created using one of the following header templates designed by Amy Bleser Designs.
and the paper and embellies were freebies that Chris gave away a while ago. The design is called Boheme. I'm still a newbie to digital, but it's fun and I want to learn more. I used some of the tutorials at ACOT to help me along. My next project is to make my own buttons and signature.. stay tuned for more tweaks.
I want to say thanks to all my blog visitors and followers. I really do appreciate all the comments and support. I haven't been blog hopping much, but I love all the inspiration I get from every one of you.
Next weekend I'll be spending the entire weekend at the ACOT online crop... will you be there with me? I plan on getting a lot of projects done... it's so much fun. Come join us!!!
Great job on your new blog design.
