Sunny Saturday!!!

Hello there.. what a great day.. the sun was out.. something that doesn't seem to happen much these days.. been a long, cold, snowy winter.. it was still cold out, but that was ok. it was nice to see the sunshine stay all day.. it keeps the spirit alive and kicking..

I hope all my blogging and scrapping friends had a good, productive week. Work has been busy and stressful.. so I cherish my time at home with my hubby and my friends.. I was fortunate this weekend to spend two days scrapping.. last night the hubby hosted some of his friends.. so I went over to one of my friends to allow the guys to have the house to themselves.. got two single pagers complete. pretty good considering I spend more time yakking that I should.. =)

Then, today, I made some new scrapping friends. I was invited to a local crop and met some new people that share my passion for all things scrappy.. not to mention.. they were true cricuteers. Thanks 'T'.. I had a good time. I really need to dust off my cricut.. it's been a while..

So, now I'm home waiting for the hubby to get home so I can see what our evening plans are... I think we are going to a card party.

Here are my latest creations.. Both are scraplifts from Scrapbooks Etc. Feb edition.

This Dog..
used my new Crafter's Workshop template to make the fun paper shape..

My Addiction...
used some of the LYB love letters paper..

As you can tell, I'm into using Kraft paper alot.. love it. it goes with anything it seems and it a great base. Today I completed 1 layout and started a 2 pager and a 1 pager. I'll post tomorrow if I can. I'll be going to a GOLDEN BAG event at my LSS tomorrow. Wait till you see the goodies I come home with..

  2. Love those layouts! I especially love the paper in the dog layout. I need to start trying to use more of that Kraft paper. Where do you find it? Oh by the way, you asked me about my embossing. I got a Cuttlebug for Christmas and I bought a few of the emobssing plates when they were on sale. That particular plate was the Divine Swirls one. The Cuttlebug is so easy to use. I love it! Have a great week!
