the letter "G"
Well, HELLO there!!!! yes, I've been missing in action. Lots going on, but as always, I am back with the latest Scrapbookers Anonymous challenge. =)
This month is the "great' letter "G". I have lots of fun papers to wade through so I decided to select the pictures first.. I had some from my 40th birthday crop that I hadn't done anything with so I used a photo template for the pictures, then popped the one of me, Lea, and our friend Sara. As I looked at the photos, the flamingo really stood out for me. Carol, the LSS owner, decorated the place up for me since I wanted a beach theme... nothing better than having a few flamingos around.. lol.. the most hated lawn decor of all time I think. They get a bad rap, but done tastefully, they have their place.. =)
I really dug deep for the base sheet. This is an old Glitz line from 2007 maybe.. it's old. as is the sheet of wild Glitz paper under the photos. Then I used some Graphic 45 and made sure to use Girl in my title...
this was a lot of fun. If you look closely, there is even a flamingo and palm tree brad on the green circle..
And if you read the sign, yes, I did celebrate my birthday that year for a whole week. It was so fun.. and there are a few peeps missing in these photos.. there was 8 of us cropping... always a good time.
Have a great day and hope everyone is recovered from all their Valentine chocolate =) Hurry over to Scrapbookers Anonymous and see what the DT made and join in the fun...
See you soon... Toodles. =)
Wow fabulous creation. Love this.
