Nuts About Sketches #135

Hi and Happy Monday.=)

I'm back with my latest Nuts About Sketches. This is a picture of my inlaws at my cousins graduation party. Used my Studio Calico Continental Kit. I love this kit. so versatile and I love the colors. MME, Cosmo,  Basic Grey, and some Girls Paperie. It's still available if you are interested.
And I finally finished another Art Journal page for the Mixed Emotions class. This lesson was on Loneliness. I misted the background with blue and yellow, used gel medium to do the photo transfer, painted the title, and then used some Cloud 9 stickers that look like tear drops. I worked on this for what seemed like forever. i just picked at it until it all came together.

I have other art journal pages in varying stages of progress. I find that I can't really churn these out like I do scrapbook pages. I need to work them over a little more. Maybe some day I'll get to be a bit faster.

Have a great Monday folks. Hope you have a great week!!!!

  3. Love the LO of the in-laws. Love the circle of bling, and the arrangement down at the bottom with the tickets and the twine. The loneliness page is awesome! Love the eye for the "e".

  6. Beautiful LO, and your art journal page is just gorgeous!! I'm just the opposite, I work much faster on art journal pages than I do on LO's. LO's usually take me days to finish, whereas I can't seem to stop on an art journal page until it's done ... Anyway, it doesn't matter how long it took you, the result is great!
