Happy Father's Day

Hi.... hope everyone is enjoying the day with the dads in their life. I'm sitting on the couch next to one of my fav dads. my hubby :) I don't have any kids of my own, but i do have a pretty amazing step son who is 17. wow, time flies... he was only 3 when i met my husband. I remember the first father's day after meeting my husband. I brought him peonies from my garden to work for his desk. he's allergic to everything and didn't say a word. what a trooper. =)

my own dad died 17yrs ago from cancer...way too soon, he was way too young.. he definitely was a character.. fun, loyal, hard working, and a bit of a rebel. he inspired me. I wanted to grow up and be just like him, an entrepreneur. He owned his own business and I thought that was so cool. he instilled in me a work ethic which has served me well the past 24 years. I don't own a business, but I will some day... and in the mean time, I just keep working harder and smarter.. =) Thanks Dad.
