Color Me Miki Kit page and Music Challenge

Hi there. It's almost Friday.. isn't that exciting? I think so.. =) I got a few scrap goodies this week, one was my Color Me Miki kit, the other was my Daisy D rubons, and I ordered a few other scrap goodies from Peachy Cheap that I can't wait to get. I have a sickness for discounted scrapbooking stuff.. I'm sure if you are reading this page I don't need to explain that.. =)

I was able to get two pages done this week.

this page was for the Music is a Craft challenge over at Scrapbooking and Crafting Friends. The requirement was to use the song, Thank You by Led Zeppelin on a layout. This is me and the hubby.. I used the Reminisce, Be Mine papers, and some Core'dinations Chocolate box cardstock. Used Sketch #27 from 52 Sketches.

You and Me...

this last layout if from my Color Me Miki kit. I just love this kit. some lovely Jenny Bowlin, and some Webster's Pages, not to mention some fun embellies. I used a couple pictures of my brother's dog, Ryder. He's a cutie. I also used some of my Unity Stamps from the June KOTM.. there were some cute cherry stamps that were perfect for this layout. I got the idea for this layout from the Graphic 45 blog. if you have never been over there, you need to get moving. so much inspiration and great designers... not mention I want to drool on all the paper.. =)

I really enjoyed working with this kit and I have a lot of fun paper and items left.

I hope everyone has some fun plans for this upcoming weekend. I'll be spending some time with the hubby, hopefully getting in some bike riding..
